    If you are from ALASKA, DC, CALIFORNIA, FLORIDA, GUAM, GEORGIA, ILLINOIS, IOWA, MINNESOTA, MISSISSIPPI, MISSOURI, NEBRASKA, TENNESSEE, VERMONT, VIRGINIA, OR TEXAS, please return to the entry form page and use your state forms for entry.

    This form is for GROUP ENTRIES ONLY. If you are submitting on behalf of one student, please use the individual entry form. 

  • Eligibility:

    • The Fish Art Contest is free and open to all persons in grades K-12 (aged 5-18 years old).
    • Only one entry is allowed per person, previous entries are not eligible.
    • An entry consists of an entry form, artwork, and creative writing submission (writing required for grades US participants 4th-12th grade)
    • Entries must abide by the guidelines and be submitted by February 28th, 2025

  • Sheet & Mailing Instructions 

    Download the Student Information Sheet: Fill out all required details for each student.

    • If you do not have Excel, you may upload the file to Google Sheets to edit

    Artwork Submission:

    If mailing in artwork: Use the Mail-In Name Sheet to write the student's name, grade, and fish species on the back of each piece of artwork along with each student’s signature. Print the finished entry form and mail with your students’ artwork and creative writings.


    If submitting online:

    Artwork: Save each file with the student’s name, grade, and species in the file name (e.g., "JohnSmith_Grade3_Trout.jpg").

    Essays: For student’s grade 4 and above, save each essay file with the student’s name, grade, and “essay” in the file name (e.g., "JohnSmith_Grade3_Essay.jpg").

    Uploading Artwork:

    • For scanned artwork and essays, gather all files in a folder.
    • Zip the folder and upload it to the entry form, along with the completed Student Information Sheet.
