The MN Hmong Chamber of Commerce (MHCC) is collaborating with local subject matter experts to offer these courses, worth over $7,000 per person, but made available for FREE by a grant from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).

PLEASE NOTE: DEED requires certain participant information, such as proof of residency, Social Security Number, Individual Goal Plan, and attendance records, for grant purposes. Rest assured that your data will be handled with the utmost confidentiality and used solely to prove to the state that our community members are utilizing our services to improve better business practices.

Qualifications: To be eligible for these sessions, participants must meet the following criteria:
- Identified as Southeast Asian
- A resident of Minnesota
- Own, work in, or have a strong interest in starting a business
- A member of The Minnesota Hmong Chamber of Commerce (MHCC) or become a member during enrollment in training
Requirements: All participants will be expected to complete the following during or after the program is completed.
- Attend at least one MHCC event
- Participate in 1:1 Consultations
- Attend Business Training Celebration TBD Summer/Fall 2025

MHCC's Responsibilities:

We will monitor your progress and provide guidance and individualized consultation

We will assist you with support services and connections

We will provide follow-up and support
Verification of Residency, SSN, and Tennessen Privacy Form

To help us ensure our participants are Minnesota Residents and to provide data to DEED that our community members are benefiting from our services, we ask our participants to submit a photo ID for proof of residency, SSN, and sign the Tennessen Privacy Form. Failure to submitting these documents will not be eligible for business training.
