The University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) Emerging and Rising Scholars Internship offers undergraduate students, including those enrolled at 1890 land-grant institutions, the opportunity to conduct research alongside CAES faculty at the University of Georgia.
This seven-week program is designed for students interested in pursuing graduate studies in agriculture or related sciences and who wish to gain hands-on research experience.
Scholars will engage in research projects with CAES scientists to build the skills and knowledge needed for advanced study. Participants will receive a monthly stipend and housing allowance and will be co-mentored by faculty from both their home institution and CAES. Each Scholar will complete a supervised research project in agricultural or environmental sciences and will present their findings through a research paper and presentation at the end of the program.
