Divine Heritage & Demigod Details
Previous Roleplay Experience
Have you played a demigod or a character with comparable powers before? Briefly describe your experience. Prior experience does not replace staff approval. If none, enter “None.”
Divine Parentage
Identify your character’s divine parent and mortal parent, including the mortal parent’s race or supernatural lineage. Explain how the parentage fits the Demigods and Divine Reference pages. Parentage is subject to staff approval and does not grant authority over the deity.
Divine Abilities & Domains
Describe the abilities inherited from your divine parent and explain how each fits that deity’s domains. For each ability, include its name and source, effect, limits (range, duration and frequency), costs and drawbacks, and how it can be resisted, interrupted or countered. Keep each ability and its limitations together. All abilities require staff approval.
Divine Weaknesses & Vulnerabilities
Describe vulnerabilities tied to your character’s divine heritage that meaningfully affect roleplay. Explain their triggers, effects, severity and recovery. Keep individual ability costs with those abilities; do not repeat standard racial weaknesses or list weaknesses that never affect your character.
Signs of Divine Heritage
Describe any physical traits or visible manifestations of your character’s divine heritage, when they appear, and whether they can be concealed. If none, enter “None.”
Power Control & Development
Describe how well your character controls their divine abilities, how they learned to use them, and any triggers or circumstances that disrupt that control. Distinguish current abilities from any proposed future development; new or expanded powers require staff approval.
Relationships & Roleplay Hooks
How does your character relate to gods, mortals and other supernatural beings? Briefly describe goals, conflicts or connections that give other players ways to engage with them.
Roleplay Balance & Player Agency
Explain how you will keep this character balanced in scenes with mortals and other supernatural beings. Address consent, opportunities to resist or counter abilities, accepting consequences, and giving other characters room to influence the story. Divine heritage does not grant automatic success or authority over other characters.
Relationship with Their Divine Parent
Does your character know who their divine parent is? Describe any established contact, involvement or absence, and how it has shaped them. Direct divine involvement requires staff approval; do not assume unrestricted access, favors, protection or authority.
Are you open to staff oversight and collaboration on major storylines involving your demigod?
Life in Quicksilver
What year did your character leave Earth?
Enter the Earth year your character was brought into Quicksilver City. If they came through Elysium, use the year they left Earth with Elysium (2025). This is their departure year, not their birth year or the current year inside Quicksilver. Anywhere between 1980 - 2026
How many years has your character lived in Mercury Rising?
Count local years lived anywhere within Mercury Rising, including Quicksilver City and Solace. Enter 0–10; new arrivals enter 0. Your Earth year of origin is separate from your residency.
How did your character come to Quicksilver?
Were they from Elysium? If not, how did they end up here?
Character's Background
Describe your character’s history, including their origins, significant events, and how they became their current race, if applicable. Explain their connection to Elysium and their life following the move to Quicksilver City. A concise summary is sufficient.
Abilities, Skills and Weaknesses
Additional Supernatural Abilities
Describe any supernatural abilities. For gifts listed on the Divine Reference pages, explain your character’s worship of the relevant deity and how they received that deity’s blessing. For each ability, include its name and source, effect, limits (range, duration, frequency), costs and drawbacks, and how it can be resisted, interrupted or countered. Keep each ability and its limitations together. All additional abilities require staff approval. If none, enter “None.”
Skills, Training & Personal Weaknesses
Describe your character’s learned skills, their level of experience, and how they acquired them. Examples include combat, medicine, technology, crafting, or investigation. Include any personal weaknesses or limitations that meaningfully affect these skills or their use in roleplay. Keep learned skills separate from supernatural abilities, and do not repeat standard racial weaknesses. A concise summary is sufficient. If none, enter “None.”
Finances & Affiliations
Explain your character's financial standing.
Describe how your character acquired, maintained, or lost their wealth during their time in Quicksilver City. Consider their employment, business ventures, investments, spending habits, debts, or other relevant circumstances. Your explanation should support the financial standing selected. Additional starting currency is subject to staff approval.
What is your character's current financial standing in Quicksilver City?
Please Note: All characters receive a guaranteed 1,000 Quix. Additional starting currency is determined by residency and approved financial standing. Wealthy status is limited to one starting character per player and requires staff approval. Financial standing only affects starting currency and does not limit future earnings through roleplay.
