The current POPS Record was a 36 Way in 2006 so it is long overdue on breaking that and establishing a new Record! We are looking to doing just that in 2026 and during the week 13 - 17 July POPS will hold a Big Way Camp at SkyHigh (Shotton Colliery) with the intent of holding the Record Attempt later this year. We are pleased to announce that the Load Organisers for the Event will be led by Patrick Passe, Larry Henderson and Scott Latinis. We will have two aircraft (Skyvan and Cessna Supercaravan). Please be ready for kit & document checks on Mon 13 July at 08:15 with jumpsuits, gear and brain switched on! We will be looking to doing 4 - 6 jumps per day and progress from single to multi-plane formations as numbers dictate. Current planning considers having 2 x 36 Way Groups with a smaller group for those who are less current to progress. Dependent on final aircraft and towards the end of the Camp, we will attempt formation based on the maximum configuration possible. Exit Altitude for single aircraft will be up to 16,500 Ft AGL and for larger formations upwards to 18,500 Ft AGL (with Oxygen). Registration will be £245.00 with a £50.00 Non-Refundable deposit. Two meals will be provided during the Camp (menus to be announced). For jump ticket prices, we will use a sliding scale for single formation upwards. Indicative jump tickets prices to 18,500 Ft will be £42.00. The Registration does not take into account any funding (there is none as yet) and final pricing is yet to be announced. There may be additional charges such as a Fuel surcharge therefore POPS reserves the right to announce such increases. Participants shall be released at 16:30 on Friday 17 Jul.
