  • Join other Norfolk residents who are shaping the future of greener, warmer homes—and saving money along the way. This survey is organised by the environmental charity Hubbub, who are working with the Norfolk Climate Change Partnership on the Innovate UK funded Norfolk Net Zero Communities Project, which is a project focussed on addressing the barriers residents face in taking action for more efficient homes, renewable heat and power, and greener travel.

    Hubbub are leading engagement for Norfolk Net Zero Communities and are contracted by Great Yarmouth Borough Council for the Norfolk Climate Change Partnership. Hubbub will process data from this survey and your responses will be anonymised with all personal identifiers removed. 

    Your answers will feed into recommendations to find better ways for the partnership to support residents to make changes to properties so they are more energy efficient, and create and access renewable heat and power. This anonymised data will be shared with the Norfolk Climate Change Partnership and Great Yarmouth Borough Council in support of the project objectives outlines above. Hubbub will retain your personal data only as long as is necessary and in accordance with our retention policy. You have a right to access, correct or request deletion of your data.

  • Definitions (if you're interested!)

     

    • EPC (Energy Performance Certificate): A document rating a building's energy efficiency from A (highest) to G (lowest).
    • Retrofit: Upgrading existing buildings to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions, e.g., insulation, double glazing, wall insulation, heat pump, solar, smart heating controls, draught-proofing, or LED lighting.
    • Net Zero: Achieving a balance between greenhouse gas emissions and removals.
    • Clean Heat and Power: Technologies generating heat and electricity with low carbon emissions, e.g., heat pumps, solar panels, combined heat and power systems, or solar thermal systems.
