  • Alsum Farms & Produce is proud to announce our high school senior scholarships with awarding ten $1,000 scholarships to deserving students to further their education and invest in the future of agriculture.

    Only completed applications are considered. Completed applications include:

    1.    The scholarship form completely filled out.

    2.    A copy of your most recent high school transcripts/grades.

    3.    One letter of recommendation (Letter should come from a mentor, advisor, teacher, coach,  or employer that is not a family member.)

    4.    Digital photo (head and shoulders photo) for publicity purposes. 

    Eligibility:

    1. Any graduating high school senior pursuing a degree at an accredited college, university,      technical college, or short course, from the following Wisconsin schools who resides in our growing or packing region. The following number of $1,000 scholarships will be awarded as follows:

    2 - Cambria-Friesland High School

    2 - Randolph High School

    1 – River Valley High School, Spring Green

    1 - Adams-Friendship High School or Westfield High School

    4 - Other area schools within a 30-mile radius of Friesland, WI (Beaver Dam, Berlin, Brandon, Columbus, Fall River, Green Lake, Juneau, Horicon, Lomira, Mayville, Markesan, Montello, Oakfield, Pardeeville, Princeton, Portage, Poynette, Rio, Ripon, Rosendale, Waupun)

    2. Applicants will be selected on leadership, scholastic achievement (GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale), extracurricular activities and essay responses.

    3. Designated agricultural major, interest in an agriculture-related field, or have an agriculture or rural background.

    4. Scholarship will be payable upon successful completion of first semester, as evidenced by copy of transcript.

    5. Applicants may only receive this scholarship once.

    The Alsum Farms & Produce scholarship committee will make the decision on scholarships to be awarded.

Such use may include, but is not limited to: publishing such materials in Alsum Farms & Produce publications, social media, and/or on www.Alsum.com or a related or to publications of general circulation such as newspapers.
