We Rock the Spectrum Kid's Gym is an inclusive sensory gym for kids of all ages, from toddler through teenage as well as all abilities. Our gym design and services are focused on the neurodiverse community like those with Sensory Processing Disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our Gym equipment supports "Play with a Purpose", a concept that is centered around providing sensory play that ignites the 7 senses: Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste, Touch, Vestibular and Proprioception. This is where children can truly discover, learn and thrive in a sensory safe environment.
Our Gym coaches have a number of responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Checking in clients and able to up sell to packages or memberships.
- Responsible for lobby area, be sure to have all counters, snack tables cleaned and wiped down, garbage emptied, floor swept.
- Keeping the Rock shop products organized.
- Responsible to go on main floor to be sure toys are picked up if there are no floor attendants.
- Supervision to young children, as needed.
- Use our Mindbody Software.
- Have full knowledge of all services and prices.
- Understand each piece of equipment in the gym.
- Know what to recommend when seeing a child having difficulty.
Gym Coach Requirements:
- Enthusiasm to work with ALL children with ALL abilities.
- Previous experiences working with children (preferably children with special needs. We are here to train you if we feel you will be great in the position).
- Understanding how to provide excellent Customer Service.
- High School diploma or current enrollment.
- Evening and weekend availability.
Compensation:
Gym Coach compensation is determined on work experience and will be discussed with the hiring team.
