Our Policy: Olde Towne Hall Theatre strives to provide quality shows for our audiences and a rewarding experience for our performers through team spirit and mutual respect. We ask that you respect your fellow actors and the production team.
Any age, race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, body type, abilities, or other identities are encouraged to audition and will be considered equally in character casting, unless specified by the playwright as integral to their story. Age/age ranges, genders, and descriptions, if listed, are recommendations by the script but are flexible to interpretation. No roles for this production have been precast unless otherwise stated in marketing announcements regarding the auditions.
Olde Towne Hall Theatre is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization. All actors are strictly volunteers. No AEA contract(s) currently.
By signing this document, you agree to the following:
I understand that chronic lateness, unpreparedness, unscheduled absences, poor attitude, or an unwillingness to take direction may result in my replacement.
I am expected to clean up after myself, be focused, and quiet during rehearsals. Cell phones/games/tablets must be turned off during rehearsals, except during breaks.
If, through extreme neglect or negligence, I damage the facility, set, costumes, scripts, or other property of the theatre, I may be held financially liable.
I also consent to the use, publication, broadcast, distribution, and circulation of my name, photograph, video recording, image, and/or likeness by Olde Towne Hall Theatre for recruiting, promotional, advertising, and commercial purposes. This shall include, but not be limited to Olde Towne Hall Theatre website, playbills, ads, flyers, newsletters, and brochures.
I understand that by being cast I will be asked to volunteer a small amount of my time to at least one set construction session and to participate in the tear down of the set to aid in the success of this production.
I recognize the inherent risk in a theatrical production and waive and release Olde Towne Hall Theatre and its officers, directors, members, agents, and staff from any and all claims, costs, and liabilities for any illness or injury resulting therefrom, and hereby hold harmless the above-mentioned parties from and against all claims. Olde Towne Hall Theatre is not responsible for the theft or loss of my personal possessions.
I authorize Olde Towne Hall Theatre, in the event of any emergency, to secure from all licensed hospitals, physicians, and/or medical personnel, any treatment deemed necessary for my/my child's immediate care and agree that I will be responsible for payment of all medical services rendered.
OTHT will automatically add you to their audition email list unless you opt out
