We Rock the Spectrum Kid's Gym is an inclusive sensory gym for kids of all ages, from toddler through teenage as well as all abilities. Our gym design and services are focused on the neurodiverse community like those with Sensory Processing Disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our Gym equipment supports "Play with a Purpose", a concept that is centered around providing sensory play that ignites the 7 senses: Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste, Touch, Vestibular and Proprioception. This is where children can truly discover, learn and thrive in a sensory safe environment.
The Assistant Manager at We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym will assist the General Manager in numerous tasks as well as the supervision of the coaches.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Overseeing coach’s duties and the gym's daily operations.
- Assisting in staff meetings.
- Assisting in social media marketing of classes and events.
- Supervision to young children, as needed.
- Proficient use of our Mindbody Software.
- Have full knowledge of all services and prices.
- Understand each piece of equipment in the gym.
- Know what to recommend when seeing a child having difficulty, as needed.
- Perform housework related to childcare, including cleaning up after use of the Multipurpose Room, keeping play areas tidy, taking out the trash, wiping down counter tops, gym equipment and vacuuming.
- Additional tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Previous retail management experience.
- Prior experience working with children, special needs children preffered.
- Social media knowledge and experience.
- Understand how to provide excellent Customer Service.
- Able to manage multiple tasks at hand.
- Evening and weekend availability.
