What Is the RTS System—and Why It Matters for Radiology
The Request to Speak (RTS) system is a powerful advocacy tool that allows radiologists to engage directly in Arizona’s legislative process. Through RTS, you can quickly and effectively weigh in on bills that affect medical imaging, radiation safety, scope of practice, reimbursement, workforce issues, and patient access to diagnostic care.

With an RTS account, you can:

Register your position on legislation (support, oppose, or monitor)
Submit written comments to legislators
Sign up to speak at committee hearings
All without leaving your practice or reading room.

Why this matters: Decisions made at the Capitol directly influence how radiology is practiced in Arizona—from safety standards and technology requirements to reimbursement and operational workflow. RTS ensures that radiologists’ clinical expertise is part of the policy conversation, not an afterthought.

Important note: RTS accounts must be physically created at the Arizona State Capitol. By signing up through us, we’ll take care of the account setup for you, eliminating the need for a trip downtown. Once your account is created, you’ll receive your login credentials and be ready to engage.

Account Access: Once your account is created, we will provide you with a generic login and password. It is your responsibility to update the password to ensure the security of your account.

Limited Use: We will not access or utilize your account beyond its initial creation. After setup, all activities within your RTS account are entirely up to you.
