What is National Night Out?

Every year for the past 25 years, the City of Fircrest has joined over 16,500 other communities from all 50 states, US territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide in promoting “National Night Out Against Crime.” Our National Night Out is held at the Fircrest Community Center.

There will be K-9 demonstrations and lots of displays/interactive activities for everyone in attendance. We kick off the event with music and food and we wrap up the evening with a fireworks show.

National Night Out is our opportunity as a Police Department to build neighborhood unity and strengthen the police-community partnership that crucial to the success of our Police Department.

Types of Vendors

We are looking for anything geared towards community interests or public safety. We are not currently accepting food vendors.

HOLD HARMLESS, DEFENSE & INDEMNIFICATION

I agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the City of Fircrest, and its employees, directors, officers and Councilmembers from any and all claims, demands, losses, actions, and liabilities to or by any person or entity due to the negligence of actions on my part. This agreement includes both Personal Injury, Bodily Injury, Death or Property Damage as well as other loss or damage.

VENDOR INFORMATION

Vendors are required to bring their own tents (canopy), tent weights, tables and chairs. Appropriate tent weights are required to keep your set-up secure. Vendors will be located inside of the Fircrest Park grounds.

Set-up time begins at 4:30pm and all vendors need to be closed by 9:30pm.

Prepared Food Vendors must possess and maintain all required state, county and local licenses and permits.

Please plan for alternative ways to process payments, such as using your data and having cash on hand. There is WiFi available, but it can get bogged down when a lot of people are connected to it. Commonly used card processors include SpotOn, Square and Paypal, Venmo or Cashapp.
