FEAST is the Paseo Arts Association's annual micro-grant program open to all Oklahoma artists and creative thinkers!
Artists may submit proposals to receive funding for any artistic endeavors or creative projects. FEAST funding can be used for any costs associated with your proposal, for example, paying rent for a theatre or gallery space for a performance, buying art supplies for a series of artworks or paying design and printing costs, or fees for an artist-led community action or event. (open to interpretation!)
All fields of art are eligible! Visual arts, music, film, poetry, dance and performance and community arts-minded projects.
If you have any questions about eligibility or any part of the application, please contact theresa@thepaseo.org and she will be happy to help! You can also call 405-525-2688
Important Dates:
- Proposals Due - Tuesday, September 9 by 11:59pm
- Artist Notifications via email - Friday, September 19 by 5pm
- FEAST Event - Tuesday, October 14, 5-7pm
How Paseo FEAST works:
- A selection committee comprised of arts professionals reviews all proposals and selects up to five finalists.
- Finalists give a 5 minute presentation about their proposal to the FEAST audience, and guests will cast their votes.
-
Each guest purchases a ticket to attend the FEAST event, which provides food and a vote.
-
The winner is announced at the end of the event and will receive funding provided by half of the ticket sales for their proposal with the possibility of additional donations (the winning artist/group will receive a check within 2 weeks of the event).

How large will the FEAST grant be?
-
This depends. Paseo FEAST grants are funded directly by the patrons who come to each Paseo FEAST event. The more people who attend, the larger the grant will be, the maximum attendance is usually around 100 people. Past grants have ranged $700-$2,000. Recipients are advised to consult a tax professional regarding the appropriate treatment of the Paseo FEAST grant for IRS purposes.
Are there any “strings” attached to receiving a Paseo FEAST grant?
If I'm selected as a presenting finalist, do I still have to buy a ticket to Paseo FEAST?
How often do Paseo FEAST events take place?
I can’t make it to the event, can I still apply?
I applied for Paseo FEAST but was not selected. May I apply again?
-
Yes – We receive many proposals and can only accommodate five selected artists per event. Unless you have received a Paseo FEAST grant in the past, even if you have been selected as a presenting finalist, you may apply for another FEAST grant.
If I win FEAST, when can I apply again?
If you have any questions when compiling your proposal, please contact theresa@thepaseo.org and she will be happy to help you!
