     The Vault Athletics Track and Field clinics will be hosted almost every Sunday starting October 20th. 

    The clinics will include field event training in the jumps, sprints and hurdles. Athletes will have the ability to come train one event on Sunday or train multiple back to back. There will also be specific strength sessions attached to each clinic that athletes can attend. 

    During the clinics athletes will take part in skill instruction where they will learn new sequences and drills that will develop into doing full reps. 

    All Vault Athletics Track & Field clinics are open to all participant regardless of skill level.

    Athletes will be coached by high level coaches which include owner Tim Tray and Duquesne Track and Field Jumps/Multis/Throws Coach Shannon Taub

    Payments for clinics can be made by cash, check, credit card and venmo

    Time Schedule

    K-6th Grade (beginner for intro to Track and Field) 9am-10:15am

    Long and Triple Jump 10:15-11:30am

    High Jump 11:30am - 12:45pm

    Hurdles and Sprints 12:45pm - 2:00pm

    Pole Vault Open Gym  10:30am - 12:30pm

     

     

    Single Event Clinic: $40

    Add another Event: +$20

  • FAQ'S 

    1. Will clinics be every Sunday? 

    • Clinics will be hosted every Sunday through the outdoor track season and into the summer. There will be some weeks where the instructors will be away. We will make sure everyone is made aware when this is the case. 

    2. Can anyone attend the clinics?

    • YES, athletes of any age up to senior year of high school are allowed to attend the clinics. Athletes of any ability can also attend the clinics. The instructors will have a wide variety of drills and progressions for athletes of all abilities

    3. Can an athlete attend multiple event clinics and a strength session? How would the cost breakdown. 

    • YES, athletes can attend multiple clinics and/or a strength session on a Sunday. For example an athlete could attend the long jump/triple jump clinic followed by the high jump clinic and then attend a strength session. The cost breakdwon would be $40 for the first clinic (long/triple), +$20 for the high jump clinic, and then +$10 for strength, coming to a total of $70 for the day. 

    4. What will the Speed/Plyo/Strength class look like? Do you have to be a track athlete to attend? 

    • The speed/plyo/strength class will be designed to help athletes become faster and more explosive. You do not have to be a track athlete to attend. Track athletes that do attend we will be able to incorporate block work as well as hurdle work upon request.

    5. Do athletes have to attend every week? 

    • No, athletes can attend whenever they are available. The clinics will be pay as you go.

     

    6. What is the best way to pay for the clinics?

    • Clinics can be payed for weekly by cash, venmo or check.
