    Labour Hire Request

  • Submit Requests in Advance 

    To ensure quality and availability, labour hire requests for general labourers should be submitted at least two business days before the project starts.

    We will try to fulfill requests made with less than two business days' notice, but we cannot guarantee complete fulfilment.



    Additional Lead Time for Projects requiring:

    Please read and confirm the following Work Health and Safety checklist before any Infintree labour hire worker commences work at your site.

     

    1. Induction, Training & Competency

    • A site-specific safety induction will be provided before work starts.
    • All site safety documentation and toolbox talks will be provided to the worker.
    • The worker will not be required to perform tasks beyond their training or competency.
    • A risk register covering the worker’s tasks has been completed and is available.


    2. Plant, Equipment & PPE

    • All plant, machinery and tools the worker will use are maintained and tested/tagged.
    • Appropriate PPE will be supplied on site to safely carry out the required tasks (excluding hi-vis, long pants, and ankle lace steel-toe boots) and its use enforced.


    3. High-Risk Activities & General Hazards

    • The tasks do not involve unassessed high-risk activities (e.g., heights, live electricity, confined spaces).
    • The site is free from uncontrolled hazards (unguarded edges, live services, unsecured loads).
    • Safe access and egress to the work area are provided.


    4. Manual Handling & Physical Tasks

    • Manual-handling risks are controlled (mechanical aids, team lifts, training).
    • The worker will not work alone in high-risk situations without buddy or monitoring.


    5. Worker Supervision & Support

    • A competent supervisor will oversee the worker at all times.
    • The worker can readily contact both Infintree and the site supervisor.
    • Remote or isolated work is supported by a check-in/communication system.


    6. Fatigue Management

    • Work scheduling prevents excessive fatigue (e.g., limits on hours, breaks, travel).


    7. Violence, Aggression & Security

    • Controls are in place for potential violence or aggression.
    • Security measures (lighting, fencing, alarms) are adequate.


    8. Environmental Conditions

    • Extreme temperature exposures have been assessed and controlle.

    9. Emergency Preparedness & First Aid

    • A stocked first-aid kit and trained first-aider are available on site.
    • Emergency procedures (evacuation, fire, medical) are in place, displayed and explained.
    • Infintree will be notified immediately of any incident or injury involving the worker.


    10. Hazardous Chemicals

    • Hazardous chemicals are stored, labelled and managed; relevant SDS will be provided.


    11. Insurance & Change Management

    • Workers’ compensation insurance covers the labour-hire worker for this NSW work.
    • The worker’s tasks will not change without prior notification to Infintree.


    12. Operational & HR Compliance

    • Weekly Timesheet Confirmation Form for the worker/s will be verified and submitted to Infintree by Wednesday of the following working week.
    • Meal and rest breaks will be provided in line with the relevant award or enterprise agreement.
    • Workers are protected by comprehensive anti-bullying and mental and physical harassment policies, and the host company has the systems in place to enforce it effectively.
    • Any performance, conduct, or safety concerns involving the worker will be reported to Infintree on the same working day.
    • Adequate welfare amenities (toilets, drinking water, shelter) are available and accessible to the worker.
    • Overtime or changes to ordinary hours will not be assigned without prior approval from Infintree.

    • Collect and dispose of green waste, soil and debris.

  • Soil & Groundwork Preparation

    Expected Tasks:

    • Dig, trench, or grade the land for proper drainage and foundation.

    • Compact soil and level surfaces before planting or installing hardscape elements.
    • Assist in setting up irrigation or drainage systems.

    • Spade shovel
    • Garden hoe
    • Mattock
    • Rake
    • Wheelbarrow
    • Garden hose

     

  • Planting and/or Turf Installation

    Expected Tasks:

    • Dig holes and plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and grasses.
    • Lay sod or spread grass seeds.
    • Water and mulch newly planted areas.
    • Prune or trim plants as needed

    • Garden trowel
    • Spade shovel
    • Pruning shears
    • Watering can/hose
    • Wheelbarrow

     

  • Hardscaping & Structural Work

    Expected Tasks:

    • Install retaining walls, patios, walkways, and garden edging.
    • Lay pavers, bricks, or stones.
    • Mix and pour concrete for pathways or decorative structures.
    • Assist with the construction of garden beds and raised planters.

    • Level

    • Brick cutter
    • Wheelbarrow
    • Shovel

     

  •  Lawn Care & Maintenance

    Expected Tasks:

    • Mow, trim, and edge lawns.
    • Rake leaves and remove weeds.
    • Aerate and fertilize turf areas.
    • Apply pesticides or herbicides (if certified).

    • Line trimmer (whipper snipper)

    • Mix, pour, and spread concrete for foundations, footpaths, and slabs.
    • Assist in smoothing and finishing concrete surfaces using hand tools.
    • Carry bricks, blocks, or cement bags to masons.
    • Prepare mortar and assist in laying bricks or blocks.
    • Assist in positioning and securing framework, beams, and supports.
    • Carry and hold materials in place while skilled workers install structures.
    • Help in installing drywall, insulation, and basic carpentry tasks.

    Expected Tools:

    • Trowel, level, rubber mallet
    • Brick cutter, wheelbarrow, shovel
    • Hammer, measuring tape, level, clamps

  •  Roofing & External Work

    Expected Tasks:

    • Assist skilled workers.
    • Carry roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, and insulation.
    • Assist roofers by holding and passing materials and tools.
    • Clean and clear roofing surfaces of debris before installation.
    • Help install gutters, fascia, and downpipes under supervision

    Expected Tools:

    • Ladder, hammer, roofing knife
    • Tape measure, tool belt

     

  • Clean-Up & Maintenance

    Expected Tasks:

    • Follow work orders, safety guidelines, and procedures.
    • Carry and transport heavy materials and tools.
    • Communicate with team members and supervisors.
    • Collect and dispose of construction waste and debris.
    • Maintain worksite cleanliness and safety.
    • Clean and store tools and equipment after use.

    Expected Tools:

    • Broom, rake, shovel, wheelbarrow.
    • Work gloves, safety barriers, cones.

     

  • Silviculture - General Labourers

    Expected Tasks:

    • Plant tree seedlings following specified spacing guidelines
    • Water newly planted trees and ensure proper soil coverage
    • Apply mulch or protective materials around young trees
    • Remove invasive plant species and unwanted vegetation manually
    • Trim and prune small branches to encourage healthy growth
    • Assist in setting up and maintaining protective tree guards

    Expected Tools:

    • Planting spade, trowel
    • Watering can or hose
    • Mulch spreader
    • Wheelbarrow

     

  • Forest Maintenance and Land Management

    Expected Tasks:

    • Maintain pathways and access roads by clearing debris and small obstructions
    • Assist in controlled brush clearing to reduce fire hazards
    • Remove dead or diseased trees under supervision
    • Assist in setting up fences or barriers to protect reforested areas
    • Trim and prune small branches to encourage healthy growth

    Expected Tools:

    • Rake, shovel, hand saw
    • Measuring tape, marking paint
    • Wheelbarrow
    • Safety gloves, high-visibility clothing
    • Pruning shears
