All professional kinesiologist candidates must provide proof of completing a minimum of 300 practical hours in kinesiology or a related field. This “experience” is defined as: co-op, work, volunteer, research, assessment, or treatment to aid in the enhancement of human performance and to assist in the prevention or rehabilitation of injury and other health conditions.
Please note:
100 hours may be Indirect Interaction Hours.
200 hours must be Direct Interaction Hours.
150 of the Direct Interaction Hours must be with symptomatic population types.
All five population types must be different.
***PLEASE NOTE: If you choose one or more asymptomatic population types, you can claim a maximum of 50 hours total between them. Please do not exceed claiming 50 hours between any of the following population types:
-Adults
-Seniors
-Children
-Athletes
For example: If you claim one of your populations as Adults and another as Athletes, you can claim 25 hours with Adults and 25 hours with Athletes.
