The Association of Children’s Prosthetic-Orthotic Clinics (ACPOC) is an organization for multidisciplinary rehabilitative care of children, adolescents, and young adults with musculoskeletal differences. ACPOC offers an environment that promotes team collaboration with all medical professionals, including physicians, orthotists, prosthetists, therapists, nurses, and others. The organization aims to improve the care of children by providing education to its members and access to a network of professionals as a resource for new and established healthcare providers.
Through a generous grant from the Anthony & Jeanne Pritzker Family Foundation, we are excited to expand access to collaborative multidisciplinary healthcare for children and adolescents through educational opportunities for physicians in the orthopedic field. The Pritzker Family Foundation funds medical research and clinical innovation to improve service delivery, patient care, behavioral health, and wellbeing.
The award is for $2,000 to fund travel, hotel, and meeting registration costs.
