  • During this event, we will have the opportunity to ask questions of candidates running for Prince George's County Council, District 5.

    The County Council is an 11-person elected body which oversees the county’s $5.5 billion annual budget. They set policies for spending tax dollars on roads, schools, development, governance, and regulations that significantly impact the daily lives of the approximately 1 million residents of Prince George’s County.

    Elections for D5 are as follows:

    • Tues March 4, Special Primary Election for D5
    • Tues June 3, Special General Election for D5
