Introduction

This maintenance log sheet will help ensure that the agricultural dryer operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime. Proper documentation will also aid in identifying recurring issues and planning long-term maintenance strategies.

When performing maintenance and checks, ensure that correct tooling and meters are used to avoid damage.

Record and submit maintenance documentation and images via email to service department.

Select all visual and technical checks performed by Technician and Senior Technician for compliance and recording purposes.

Verification is only authorised by Service/Maintenance Department Manager.

Visual Walk Through

Start at a point and visually inspect all areas and components of the dryer. Ensure you look under, on top and behind the components. Use a torch or mobile phone camera to view in dark or difficult to reach areas.

Performing the Pre-Season Start-Up Checklist

This pre-season start-up checklist ensures that the agricultural dryer is thoroughly inspected, cleaned, and prepared for operation. By following these steps, potential issues can be identified and resolved before they cause disruptions during the drying season.

Ensure all replacement parts and spares have been identified and ordered well in advance to accommodate delivery times and part availability.

Performing the Post-Season Shut-Down Checklist

This shutdown checklist will ensure that the agricultural dryer is properly maintained and secured at the end of the season, reducing the risk of damage or malfunctions when it is restarted for the next season.

Ensure all replacement parts and spares have been identified and ordered well in advance to accommodate delivery times and part availability.
