General Rules / Requirements for All Vendors
Fire Extinguishers: The Lawrenceburg Division of Fire requires all booths to have a 5-pound ABC Fire Extinguisher. The Lawrenceburg FD will check each booth even if you are a non-food booth.
Grease and Grey water: There is no receptacle for grease or grey water so you must take it out with you. Vendors using grills, fryers or other grease-producing equipment must place a covering such as roofing paper on the pavement under the equipment.
Generators: Not permitted at this festival.
Insurance: All vendors are required to carry their own liability insurance for the operation of their booth space. Please provide a copy of the liability certificate for the Dearborn County Pride Festival with the application.
License: In consideration of the price paid for vending, Dearborn County Pride grants to the holder a revocable license to vend at the Dearborn County Pride Festival. The licensee agrees to abide by all rules governing Dearborn County Pride and acknowledges that the license granted hereby may be revoked without refund for violation of said rules. Scheduled festival events will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
Refunds: Refunds of space will be made only if the Dearborn County Pride is notified in writing 30 days prior to the event and we are able to rent with another vendor. Dearborn County Pride reserves the right to determine if the vendor will reive a refund. Dearborn County Pride shall issue no refunds in the case of inclement weather.
Set Up and Teardown: The official festival hours are from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Set Up: Must be completed before the opening of the festival. You may begin setting up after 10 a.m. If you are not set up by 12:00 p.m., you will not be permitted access to your booth space. No refund will be issued.
Location: You will be e-mailed a letter prior to the festival with your booth number and location listed on it. There will be a flag with your booth number on it where your booth will be located. If you cannot find your space, the information booth is located in at the front of the Fairgrounds.
Parking: You must move your vehicle from the festival area as soon as you have unloaded. No vehicles are permitted to park inside the Fairgrounds during the Festival.
Canopies: You must provide your own canopy, tables and chairs. Please be aware the festival is in full sun. All canopies must have at least 45lb of weight for each leg.
Music: There will be entertainment provided all day and music will not be permitted at vendor booths.
Tear down: You may begin tearing down your space at 7 p.m. when the festival is over. Vehicles are not permitted in the festival area until the last entertainer is finished and the crowd has dispersed. No early tear down is permitted.
