I agree to be bound by the DQSC Firefly Open meeting Sailing Instructions which can be found on the club website.
I accept that the safety of a boat and all persons on board and its entire management including insurance shall be the sole and inescapable responsibility of the owner/person in charge of the boat; I also accept that I am solely responsible for deciding whether or not to start or to continue racing and for wearing personal buoyancy and clothing adequate for the conditions.
I accept that I am responsible for making my own individual decision about whether or not to compete in any race organized by DQSC. I accept that there is risk involved in entering any race and that I must take into account all of the terms of Sailing Instructions and NOR when deciding whether or not to race.
I accept that no patrol boats will be provided by DQSC and that I will sail at my own risk. I will take into account the lack of patrol boats when considering going afloat and preparing my vessel/kit.
I declare that during the event the boat will have a valid current third party insurance of at least £3 million per claim.
