    • *Some utility companies require a Landlord Account for rental properties. Please contact your utility companies to setup a Landlord Account if applicable and let us know via email at: pm@mtnheightspm.com

      *It is common to keep the water service in your name and a duplicate bill mailed to our office, or added to your account as a secondary contact. We would then charge the tenant. We can also make arrangements to pay the bill on your behalf.

    • If you do not want to allow a pet, it's important to understand:   

         1.  More than 50% of prospective renters own a pet. Restricting a pet will generally take longer to find a qualified tenant.

         2.  Federal laws require landlords to allow any household animal classified as emotional support animals or service animals in the home. Mountain Heights Property Management complies with all Fair Housing laws and we will properly qualify any service/support animal. If qualified, we must allow the animal. Additionally, we are unable to charge additional deposit or rent fees.

      Having insurance for a rental property is essential to protect both your investment and your financial security. Rental property insurance, often called landlord insurance, provides coverage tailored to the unique risks associated with renting out your property.
