Thank You for Your Interest in Lloyd Mural Fest!
Lloyd Mural Fest is a vibrant, community-driven event celebrating creativity and public art. This year, we’re transforming cement barriers into stunning works of art that will brighten our city and showcase the talent of local and regional artists.

Project Details:

Canvas: Artists will paint cement barriers as their mural surface.
Compensation: Each selected artist will receive $500 per completed barrier.
Barrier Placement: Finished barriers will be placed throughout the community or donated to local non-profits.
Materials & Supplies: Provided by Lloyd Mural Fest. Artists will receive a clean, primed barrier upon arrival.
Food & Beverages: One meal, snacks, and beverages per day will be provided on-site by Lloydminster Exhibition. Artists are responsible for any additional meals.

Mural Concept Proposal & Image Description

(Please provide a detailed description of your proposed mural, how it connects to the community, and how it aligns with the vision of Lloyd Mural Fest—celebrating the history, diversity, and spirit of Lloydminster). Describe your attached images below (size, media, and date).

Portfolio Submission*

Please upload or link to 3-5 samples of your past work(preferably murals or large-scale art) to demonstrate your experience and artistic style.

Artist insurance is highly recommended to protect yourself and your work during the festival. While not mandatory, having coverage ensures peace of mind in case of unexpected circumstances.

Festival Availability*

The festival is scheduled for July 9 - 12 Please confirm your availability during these dates for mural creation and installation. 4 days to complete your barrier.

Selection Criteria
Artists will be selected based on the following criteria:

Alignment with festival themes (community, history, diversity, public art)
Creativity and originality of mural proposals
Experience with large-scale or public art projects
Willingness to collaborate with a business on the barrier concept
Ability to meet festival installation deadlines

Additionally, artists may apply individually or as a group. If applying as a group, please specify team members and how the compensation will be divided.

Terms & Conditions

Compensation: Artists will be compensated $500 per Jersey Barrier. All materials and supplies are provided by Mural Fest. If applying as a group, the $500 fee will be split among team members.
Liability: Artists are responsible for their own installation process and must comply with all safety and public space regulations. Artist insurance is highly recommended but not mandatory.
Publicity: By submitting your application, you consent to having your mural featured in festival promotions, media coverage, and social media.
