    Please read the terms and conditions carefully before signing.
  • The above listed Client (the “Clients”) and the Photographer (Sheryl Harrison Photography) agree that the Photographer will provide the Wedding/Event photography services as outlined in this contract. This is a legally-binding contract.

    This contract represents the entire understanding of the requirements.  This looks at the schedule and payment terms for the photography services listed within.

    Clients accept sole financial responsibility for any legal fees or related costs incurred by the Photographer in enforcing the terms of this photography contract. Any failure by one or both parties to uphold or to enforce a provision of this contract shall not constitute a waiver of any other provision of this contract.

    Payment

    The Clients agree to retain the Photography for the services listed by signing this photography contract and paying an initial deposit of £100. Clients acknowledge that no reservation can be made prior to signature of this contract and payment of the deposit. The remaining balance shall be due, in full no later than 42 days (6 weeks) prior to the wedding date (ceremony date).  In the event that payment is not made, the Photographer has the right to terminate this contract, retain the initial deposit and no longer be held responsible for providing further services to the Clients.

    For Events; A 50% deposit is required upon booking, the balance is required 1 week before the event date.

    Cancellation

    The Clients may cancel this contract up to 120 days prior to the wedding date (ceremony date).  To do so, Clients must send a written cancellation notice via either mail or post.  The Clients hereby forfeit their initial deposit in case of cancellation, and agree to pay the full amount for the services listed should they cancel this wedding photography contract after the date 120 days before the wedding date (ceremony date).

    For Events; Clients may cancel upto 14 days before the event date, but will forfeit their initial deposit. 

    COVID; If Law states that the Wedding cannot take place due to Covid restrictions, the above cancellation policy is suspended and the Clients deposit is carried over to the new Wedding date. This shall be the same for Events.

    If the Photographer should need to cancel this contract for any reason beyond their control, including but not limited to, Death, Injury or Illness, their liability shall be limited to a refund of monies paid only.  Every effort will be made to find an alternative, professional photographer.

    Reschedule

    Clients may reschedule the dates of the ceremony and reception listed no later than 120 days prior to the original wedding date (ceremony date) with the written approval of the Photographer.  Should the Photographer be unable to accommodate the Clients rescheduled date, the Clients will not be held responsible for the remaining balance of this wedding photography contract, but will forfeit the initial deposit.  Event Clients may reschedule upto 14 days before their Event date with written approval of the Photographer.

    COVID; If Law states that the Event cannot go ahead due to Covid restrictions, Clients may reschedule up to the day before an Event.

    Liability

    If the Photographer should be unable to provide the goods and services outlined in this contract for any reason, Photographer agrees to refund any fees paid by the Client, minus applicable expenses, and shall have no further liability with regards to this contract.  This limitation of liability also applies to any loss or damage of footage, photographs or other materials after the events listed in this contract.  The sole remedy for any actions or claims resulting from the Photographers inability to deliver the goods and services listed in this contract shall be limited to a refund of monies paid by the Client to the Photographer.

    Coverage

    Photographer will provide the goods and services listed in this photography contract, including event coverage for the listed number of hours at the venues listed.  If additional coverage hours are requested on the day of the wedding/event, Clients agree to pay the Photographer in full for those additional hours at the hourly rate listed in this contract.

    Photographer agrees to make every effort to provide satisfactory coverage, but cannot make any guarantees as to specific photos, poses, etc. during the event.

    Responsibilities

    Sheryl Harrison Photography will be the sole and exclusive Professional photographer for the above listed wedding/event.

    Photographer is responsible for bringing any equipment or assistants necessary to conduct the services outlined in this contract.

    Clients agree to prevent any other photographers or videographers at the wedding listed in this contract, from interfering with the Photographers performance of their duties.  This includes wedding guests and other amateur photographers or videographers.  Photographer will not be held liable for compromised event coverage due to interference from other parties, including late arrivals by members of the wedding party or their guests.  Likewise, Photographer is not responsible for degraded coverage due to environmental issues, such as poor event lighting, space, or backdrops.

    Client agrees to confirm the wedding/event date, time, and location no later than 14 days (2 weeks) prior to Sheryl Harrison Photography.

    Harassment

    The Clients acknowledge that they are responsible for ensuring appropriate behaviour by their guests, wedding party, and other vendors.  In the event that the Photographer identifies any inappropriate, threatening, hostile, or otherwise offensive behaviour directed at them, their assistants, or their equipment, Photographer reserves the right to end coverage of the wedding/event, retain all fees paid by the Client and hold no further responsibilities to the Clients.

    Photographer agrees to notify the Clients of any of the above listed behaviours, and give them an opportunity to correct such behaviours, or remove the offending individuals from the venue prior to ending wedding/event coverage.

    Image Processing

    Photographer will perform limited colour correction and retouching prior to delivering any images to the Client.  If the Clients request a digital copy of their images, the Photographer will not be responsible for the printed copies of these files.

    Model Release

    This wedding photography contract serves as a model release.  This grants the Photographer the right to use all images without restriction for advertising, portfolios and other lawful purposes.  The Clients waive the right to inspect any material produced using the images from the wedding in this contract and the right to restrict the use of the images taken by the Photographer.

    Copyright

    All photographs shall remain the sole intellectual property of the Photographer in accordance with the 1988 Copyright, Designs and Patents Act.  The Clients may NOT reproduce, copy or edit without formal written consent from the Photographer.

    Digital Packages come with a Copyright License that accompanies the images on USB/Download. This does not allow for modification of any images, for any further editing images should be returned to Sheryl Harrison Photography.

    Unauthorised Reproduction

    Client agrees not to reproduce or modify the images provided by the Photographer without first obtaining a formal written release signed by the Photographer.  Should the Photographer discover any violations to this agreement, the Clients agree to be held financially responsible at a rate of £100 per violation.

    Delivery of Finished Photographs/Images

    Photographs should be available to view by the Clients, 42 days (6 weeks) after the wedding date (ceremony date). 14 days (2weeks) for Event Clients. They will be delivered as agreed in the contract.  In the event that they are ready early you will be notified by the Photographer and they will be provided early.  In such circumstances that there may be a delay, the Photographer will keep the Clients up to date with progress, and photographs will be delivered as soon as possible.

    Any album can only be completed after the Clients have provided the Photographer with their preferred list of photographs.  Time will then be needed to compete the album and return to the Clients for approval before printing.
