  • Attention All Food and Beverage Vendors:

    In accordance with health authority regulations, food preparation for public consumption must be carried out in a way that prevents health hazards. Adhering to proper food handling procedures is essential for minimizing risks. Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) conduct health reviews to ensure public health safety at events and markets.

    All food and beverage vendors offering food samples are required to submit a VCH temporary permit for approval. If accepted, you will receive the permit form for submission.

    Failure to provide the necessary approval will result in disqualification from vending at our market, and your market fee will be non-refundable. 

    By submitting this application, you acknowledge and agree to the non-refundable terms outlined for food and beverage vendors. This includes the non-refundable nature of any payments made to Collective YVR if your food and beverage products are not approved. If you have any questions regarding your qualifications, please contact VCH for clarification at VCH Temporary Event and Market Permits.

          • Policies and Procedures:

            By clicking "Yes" on the section below, I agree to the following terms and conditions:

            1. I acknowledge that vendor fees cannot be refunded, and if I am unable to attend, I will inform the market manager and relinquish my fees. It is understood that I am not allowed to exchange my booth with another vendor. All vendors must submit an application and gain approval from the market manager. Refunds and credits will be provided solely if the market manager cancels or postpones the event, or otherwise negotiated beforehand.

            2. I understand that the market has predetermined operating hours. I commit to being present for the entire duration of the market and will have my table ready and available for customers when the doors open. I am also aware that there is a limited time allocated for packing up.

            3. I understand that the floor plan of the market will be created by the market manager. Special requests will be considered and accommodated to the best of their ability.

            4. I understand that actively supporting marketing and promotional endeavors is crucial for the success of the market. If my application is accepted, I will promote the market on my social media platforms and extend invitations to my friends, family, and followers for the Facebook and Eventbrite event pages.

            5. As a food vendor, I understand  to possess all the necessary paperwork from Vancouver Coastal Health and submit it directly to the Market Manager instead of Vancouver Coastal Health.

            6. I understand that failing to pay the market fee by the specified deadline will result in the market manager proceeding to the next vendor on the waitlist. Only after making the payment will my spot be guaranteed.

            7. In the case of vendors sharing a table, their details must be clearly indicated on the application form and receive prior approval from the market manager due to limitations on the number of vendors allowed per category.

            8. I understand that it is mandatory to bring and supply my own 10x10 tent (applicable for outdoor markets only. If this is an indoor market, please disregard this message).

            9. I understand that the market manager have full rights to cancel market events if the weather deems unsafe and impose risks on the safety of the vendors. Communications will be sent out at least 12 hours before the event. Vendors can choose to either transfer to another available date, or credit will be issued for future markets.

            10. By submitting this application, you acknowledge and agree to the non-refundable terms outlined for food and beverage vendors regarding non-refundable of any payments made to Collective YVR due to your non approval of food and beverage products being offered.
