This is a Call for Program Abstracts to be presented at the 2025 MSAWWA-MWEA Joint Conference which will be held in Billings, Montana. A Preconference will be held on April 22, 2025 followed by the Joint Conference on April 23 & 24, 2025. MSAWWA and MWEA are teaming up once again to provide great training and networking opportunities for all attendees.
Abstracts are also being sought for the MWEA hosted Preconference and the theme will be posted on the website as soon as it is available.
The Joint Conference Program Committee is developing a technical program that will focus on water, wastewater, and stormwater issues, including an emphasis on system operations. Abstracts that are specifically pertinent to Montana and the West will be selected by the program committee. Speakers from the region are encouraged to submit an abstract. Abstracts should be geared toward the overall theme for the Joint Conference which is “Working Together To Protect Montana’s Water Resources”.
The Conference program will be developed from submitted and solicited abstracts. The Joint Conference technical sessions will address subjects of specific interest to professionals working with Montana’s water resources. Presentations are to be 45 minutes in length, including Q & A. Additional written material may be provided for a more thorough understanding of complex information.
Please note that all selected speakers are required to pay the complete registration fee if chosen to present at the conference. If payment is not received by April 4, 2025, you will be removed from the agenda.

Sales pitch presentations will not be selected for the program. Presentations submitted for presentation in the Exhibitor area are to be 30 minutes in length, including Q & A. Additional written material may be provided for a more thorough understanding of complex information. Please note that the number of presentations chosen will be limited due to space and time available for this additional track.
Deadline for submission is February 14, 2025. All abstracts must be submitted electronically utilizing this form. You will be required to attach your abstract (around 500 words please) and short bios for all speakers at the bottom of this form.
