    Thank you for applying to the 7th annual BLACK FOODIE Festival. Please be sure to read ALL the rules and requirements. In order to ensure public and vendor safety you will be held to these standards.!

      All REGISTERED vendors will be added in a group chat on instagram. in the group chat, the event coordinators will follow up with vendors for further instructions & INFORMATION. If you do not have a Instagram for your business, please make one. All vendors are required to have a logo to promote your business. All vendors must have a banner or some sort for your tent at the event.

    GENERAL INFORMATION:

    • Location: 1001 N PERSHING AVE, STOCKTON, CA 95203
    • Set-up Time: 9:00 AM to 11:30AM. All vendors must complete set up by 11:30 to ensure you are ready to sell. (ALL vehicles MUST be out of your unloading area by 11AM NO EXCEPTIONS!!
    • OUTDOOR COOKING VENDORS PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE ALL YOUR TOOLS TO PASS INSPECTION. 
    • Festival Hours: 12PM- 6PM
    • Electricity: None, You can supply your own generator, Fire Extinguisher must be present. 
    • Tent Space Size: Single space = 10' wide by 10' long. If you need extra space it will be a $25 fee added. you will need to send a seperate payment and add it in your notes when you register. 

     VENDOR REGISTRATION FEE: Please Note that there is a $50 CITY FEE that is added onto your registration fee. ( ALREADY INCLUDED) you do not need to send a seperate payment. This is only for vendors that are selling. 

    *Info/Non-Profit Booth Fee: $65 (Non refundable) This option is used for educational purposes such as sharing information pamphlets or paperwork about your organization or business.

     

    *Merchandise Booth Fee: $195 (Non Refundable) CITY FEE ADDED: This option is for people who have non-consumable goods or products to sell. 

     

    Desserts ONLY! Booth Fee: $245. (Non Refundable) CITY FEE ADDED: This option is ONLY for selling dessert items. You must have your food handlers certificate. 

     

    *Food/Beverage Vendor Fee: $325(Non refundable) CITY FEE AFDED: This option is for selling food/Beverage items. You must have your food handlers certification. 

     

     NO checks are accepted.

    RULES, REQUIREMENTS & INFORMATION;

    *IF YOU ARE A FOOD VENDOR AND YOU ARE COOKING. PLEASE BE SURE TO HAVE THE CORRECT FIRE EXTINGUISHER. 

    • Trailers, Trucks MUST be in your space and parked no later than 10:00 AM. PLEASE BE SURE TO BE ON TIME! NO EXCEPTIONS!! You will loose parking 

    FOOD VENDORS (additional requirements):

     

    ALL FOOD & DRINK VENDORS ARE ABLE TO HAVE UP TO 4 WORKERS. Other vendors are able to have 2 workers only in booth area. Please keep booth areas clean and clear for your customers. 

    *PLEASE READ OUTDOOR COOKING PACKET TO ENSURE YOU HAVE THE PROPER ITEMS TO COOK OUTDOORS. ALL FORMS ARE REQUIRED. 

    • All FOOD & DRINK vendors MUST have their paperwork turned in and filled out correctly and a CALIFORNIA FOOD HANDLERS PERMIT Certificate.  NO OTHER CERTIFICATES WILL BE ACCEPTED!  
      Please submit a current copy with your application.

    PROHIBITED ITEMS:

    No: Silly String, Smoke Bombs, Stink Bombs “Snappers”, Radios, AV Equipment, Weapons, Guns, Ammo. No Pets. No drug related items 

    • No refunds or cancellations for any reason whatsoever. This is a shine event. 
    • Spaces are limited (Approx. 85 available) Get your application in EARLY! 
    • We will attempt to accommodate location requests however we cannot guarantee this.

    FINAL NOTE TO ALL VENDORS (please forgive us, we are sorry we have to do this, but as it has happened before we have to address it now). 

    • ALL vendors will maintain polite and courteous manners (including language) to all guests, other vendors and event staff. Failure to do so will result in your IMMEDIATE removal from the site with no refund! 
    • Please Remember, you must leave your space as you found it. If you leave your garbage behind without putting it in A GARBAGE BAG it will be noted and you will be barred from any future events.

    Release Statement:

    • By signing below, I agree to consider this application a commitment if accepted and to abide by all rules set forth by the Festival Committee of black to business for the annual Seafood & Soul festival.


    • The use of live or recorded music, video or AV equipment is not permitted without prior written permission.  No pets are allowed without prior written permission.

    •  Black to business and all members including the festival committee are not responsible in any way for personal injuries, property damage or theft which may occur to me or my associates as a result of my participation in this festival.

    • All images presented in this application or taken during the festival may be used for promotional purposes by black to business.
    • My booth will be properly attended for the entire time of the festival and my booth area will be kept clean and safe.  No early packing up or closing of booths is allowed, the Festival ends.

    The committee reserves the right to reject any application.
