**Pet Health and Safety**: While we take every precaution to ensure the health and safety of your pet, you acknowledge that there are inherent risks associated with dog walking and pet sitting, including but not limited to, injuries from other animals, accidents, or unforeseen incidents. You assume all responsibility for these risks.
**Damages**: Gone Walking accepts no liability for any breach of security or loss of or damage to the Owner's property if any other person has access to the property during the term of this agreement. Gone Walking shall not be liable for any mishap of whatsoever nature which may befall a dog or caused by a dog who has unsupervised access to the outdoors.
It is understood that anyone with access to the home will be notified of Gone Walking's presence and vice versa. Gone Walking will not be held responsible for any damages incurred to your home or pet(s) by visitors pre – authorised visitors. The Client agrees to notify Gone Walking of any concerns within 24 hours of client’s return home. Gone Walking cannot be held responsible for any mishaps, claims, and/or expenses attributed to a destructive or unpredictable behavior of the Client’s pet(s) that cause damage to the Client’s home/property and/or a neighbor’s home/property. (i.e., biting, furniture damage, accidental death, etc nor can Gone Walking be held liable for injury, disappearance, death, or fines of pet(s) with access to the outdoors.
**Pet Behaviour**: You are responsible for disclosing any behavioral concerns, medical conditions, or special needs your pet may have. Gone Walking reserves the right to decline services for pets exhibiting aggressive or unpredictable behavior that could pose a risk to our staff, other pets, or the public.
**Emergency Situations**: In the event of a medical emergency, Gone Walking will make every effort to contact you. However, if we are unable to reach you, you authorise Gone Walking to seek veterinary care and treatment for your pet. You are responsible for all costs incurred for such veterinary services.
**Social Media**: The client gives consent for their dog’s image to be used in photo or video format on Gone Walking social media pages such as FB and Instagram.
**Duties/Services**: The Walker shall not be obliged to perform any other duties except those specified and agreed upon, per this agreement (this is includes, but is not limited to, additional cleaning of the home, garden maintanence etc.).
**Access (Keys)**: Gone Walking warrants to keep safe and confidential all keys, remote control entry devices, access codes and personal information of the Owner and to return same to the Owner at the end of the contract period or immediately upon demand.
**Cancellations**: Cancellations by the Owner of scheduled pet sitting and dog walking services may be charged the full amount if cancelled less than 24 hours in advance. This policy helps to ensure I can accommodate other clients and manage my schedule effectively.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, kindly inform me as soon as possible.
Gone Walking reserves the right to terminate service at any time before or during pet sits, if determined that Client’s pet poses a danger to the health or safety of a person or another animal.
**Payment Policy**
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total service fee is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation.
Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full within two (2) working days after the completion of the service.
Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer, cash, or other mutually agreed methods.
Late Payment: Failure to settle the outstanding balance within the specified timeframe may result in additional charges or the refusal of future services until payment is received.
**Liability Waiver**: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Gone Walking and its staff from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the provision of our services, including but not limited to, injury to your pet or property while in our care.
**Insurance**: Gone Walking carries liability insurance for dog walking and pet sitting services. However, this does not cover injuries or damages that occur outside of our control.
