2025 UCB Evolution Camp

United Capital Blades Evolution Camp 2025 will be held at Rockville Ice Arena in Rockville, MD on July 5-7, 2025. Daily drop-ins are available, although we recommend participating in all three days to recieve the full benefit of the camp. Register early, as space is limited to 28 skaters.

Camp Objectives
- The camp is designed for skaters of all skill levels, focusing on building foundational strength and refining skating technique.
- Participants will also engage in track pattern analysis, dryland strength and stability training, and educational seminars covering topics like sharpening, equipment topics, and ISU rules.
- The camp will feature mock races for skaters to test their speed and speed-endurance in a no-pressure environment while also helping younger skaters practice time management during race prep.
- This immersive experience aims to enhance strength, technique and race-day strategy in a performance-focused, supportive, and engaging 3-day camp.

Assisting Coach Sidney will be United Capital Blades Head Coach Camila Silva. Camila hails from Chile and started as an inline speedskater. She is a Level 2 US Speedskating Coach has been coaching speedskating in the DC Metro area for over 12 years.

Please note that parents/guardians of skaters may be needed for crash pad set-up and breakdown. If you're willing to volunteer, please notify staff at check-in.
