Tourism Economy Day at the State House
April 10, 2025
The tourism and hospitality industries play a vital role in Vermont’s economy, supporting 10% of the state’s workforce and generating a $4 billion annual economic impact. In 2023 alone, 15.8 million visitors spent $4.0 billion across lodging, dining, retail, entertainment, recreation, and more. Their spending also contributed $282.3 million in state and local taxes—equivalent to approximately $1,039 per Vermont household. We invite you to join industry leaders at the Vermont State House to engage with legislators and highlight the essential contributions of tourism and hospitality to our state. This event is free to attend
