      • If your intent is to transfer your current personalized plate configuration to the Cars and Coffee Foundation plates, please also enter your current plate configuration in the 'First Chocie' section with the 'Description' noted as "current plate".

      • Please use all capital letters and show choices in order of preference. 

      • Personalized license plate designs with no emblem or wheelchair symbol: up to 6 characters (plus one space, dash, or apostrophe if desired)

      • Plates with a wheelchair symbol: up to 6 characters (or 5 characters plus one space, dash, or apostrophe if desired)

      • Cycle plates with no emblem or wheelchair symbol: up to 6 characters (or 5 characters plus one space, dash, or apostrophe if desired)

      • Cycle plates with an emblem or wheelchair symbol: up to 5 characters (or 4 characters plus one space, dash, or apostrophe if desired)

      • The Missouri Department of Revenue will not issue plates that contain any letters, numbers, or a combination of letters and numbers which are obscene, profane, patently offensive or contemptuous of a racial or ethnic group, offensive to good taste or decency, or would present an unreasonable danger to the health or safety of the applicant, of other users of streets and highways, or of the public in any location where the vehicle with such plate may be found.

      • The Missouri Department of Revenue will not issue plates that conflict with the regular license numbering system.

      • To see if your configuration is currently available before submitting your application, please CLICK HERE to go to the DOR plate configurator tool. You can use the Regular Personalized plate option under "Select Plate Type" to determine if your configuration is avaialble.

    • Step 4: Choose Your Missouri License Office

      Your license plates will be shipped to the license office that you indicate below. You will receive a letter from the Department of Revenue when your plates are ready to be picked up in approximately 6-8 weeks.

    • Step 5: Sign and Pay

    • I hereby certify under penalty of perjury that all information regarding this request is true and accurate and is made without intent to defraud and that all statutory requirements for personalized or special license plates have been met. I also acknowledge that, if the requested configuration is already issued for a vehicle I own, I must surrender those plates when I pick up the new plates bearing that configuration.

    • !! IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT REGISTRATION DURATION !!

      Vehicles with an odd number model year (i.e. 2019) can apply for a two-year registration if renewing in an odd number calendar year (i.e. 2025). Vehicles with an even number model year (i.e. 2018) can apply for a two-year registration if renewing in an even number calendar year (i.e. 2026). If your vehicle is not eligible for two-year registration based on model year, then one-year registration will apply. Cars and Coffee Foundation is not responsible for incorrect submissions and we will not provide refunds or credits for contribution overages.
