Hours: Daytime hours only (between 8am and 6pm only) - Saturday availability is desired. Please note that weekends and holidays are our busiest times.

We are a small, family-owned bakery dedicated to creating delicious and beautifully decorated cakes. Our team is passionate about baking and delivering exceptional customer service. We are looking for a talented cake decorator to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

Decorate cakes, cookies and cupcakes from start to finish, including design, and final touches.

Follow instructions accurately and consistently to meet our bakery’s standards.

Collaborate effectively with the team while also being able to work independently when required.

Adapt to our bakery’s style and maintain consistency in design and presentation.

Write well with buttercream to create messages and decorative elements.
Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders via phone and email.

Track orders and maintain an organized schedule to ensure timely delivery.
Exhibit strong time management and attention to detail to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in cake decorating, with a portfolio showcasing your work. Strong foundation in cake decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and other decorating skills. Self-motivated and able to manage tasks efficiently. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and precision. Good written communication skills for taking orders and writing messages on cakes. Ability to provide friendly and professional customer service. Basic computer skills for tracking orders and communication.
