Are you passionate about empowering youth and shaping the future of our community? Tres Sueños Morados Foundation is seeking dedicated and values-driven individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a board member, you will help steer the direction of our Professional Development Program, which aims to inspire and mentor middle school students, particularly from Black and Brown communities, by exposing them to diverse career opportunities and helping them build critical life skills. Our mission is to increase opportunities for youth in the Merrimack Valley by providing them with mentorship, coaching, and professional development. We are looking for dynamic individuals who will bring their passion, experience, and expertise to help us further our impact.
What You Will Do:
As a member of the Board of Directors, you will: Guide Program Development: Provide strategic direction and guidance to ensure the program meets the needs of students and the community. Support Fundraising Efforts: Assist in securing funding and resources to sustain and expand our programming. Advocate for the Mission: Be an ambassador for the Tres Sueños Morados Foundation by promoting our work and encouraging engagement with the community. Collaborate with Professionals: Work alongside mentors, professionals, and community leaders to provide meaningful experiences for students. Mentorship and Networking: Help students expand their professional networks by connecting them with guest speakers, industry leaders, and hands-on career exploration opportunities.
Qualifications & Benefits:
Qualifications: A passion for youth empowerment and education. Previous experience in mentoring, coaching, or working with youth (preferred). Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire others. Experience in leadership roles, particularly in nonprofit or community-based organizations, is a plus.
