$50 travel fee for appointments after 6:00 PM

✍️ Notary Charges (Per Stamp)
Most documents need 1 stamp per signer

Here is an example of notary charges:

1 document, 1 person signing (1 stamp) $10
1 document, 2 people signing (2 stamps) $20
2 documents, 1 person signing each $20
2 documents, 2 people signing both $40

BUT HOW DOES THE PRICING WORK?

Texas Government Code §406.024 indicates $10 per signature notarized.

Example: Let’s say you have one piece of paper (a document), and two people need to sign it.

Even though only one stamp is needed, the notary still will have to watch and verify each person’s signature.

Since Texas charges $10 for each signature, the total is:

✍️ 1 signature = $10
✍️ 2 signatures = $20
So, 1 document + 2 people signing = $20, even though there’s only one stamp.
