2026 RSA Summer Dance Intensives

Greetings!

We are glad to see that you are interested in attending our Summer Dance Intensives at Rising Stars Academy of Dance & Performing Arts (RSA).

RSA Summer Dance Intensives are for ages 9-18 and are ballet, jazz and modern classes taught by master dance teachers and are designed for dancers who wish to increase their technique and train with other hardworking dancers. We will have beginner friendly levels to advances.

This week is MANDATORY for ALL prospective and returning Performance Company members. Auditions for the Performance Company will be held on the last day for dancers ages 9-18 who are interested in joining the team for the 2026-2027 dance season. Auditions are not required to attend intensives.

*Extended Care available for late pick up til 5:00pm for additional $25 for the week.

Fee: $150 Intensives Fee due at time of registration.

Attire: Dancers are required to wear athletic wear like sports bra, tank tops, leggings, fitted shorts. No street clothing or loose fitted clothing. No dangling jewelry. Dance shoes may be brought, but are not required.

Equipment: Dancers will be required to bring stretch strap and yoga blocks each day. They are available for purchase below in the online store or dancers may bring their own.

Lunch: Lunch is not included, but there will be lunch options available for $7 each day. Lunch payments must be received by 3:00pm the day before, as we have to have an accurate count in order to place order (i.e. payment must be received by 3:00pm on Monday for Tuesday's lunch).

The Extended Care fee, stretch band, yoga blocks, and lunch options can be paid for after registration through the RSA *Summer* Online Store:

I understand that my child is to wear ALL BLACK active clothes they can move in like t-shirts, tank tops, leotards, shorts, leggings, etc. Dance shoes are not required, but campers should bring tennis shoes every day. Hair should be pulled back and secured out of face. No dangling jewelry or jewelry that can get caught on things such as necklaces, charm bracelets, stretch bead bracelets, etc. Valuable items should be left at home as RSA will not be responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.

I understand that my child should be sure to eat breakfast before arriving. Lunch is not included in camp fee, but there are lunch options available to purchase each day. Campers should bring extra bottles of water, lunch (if not purchasing daily lunch), and snacks. Hot chips, candy, soda and gum are NOT allowed and should not be brought. No refrigerator or microwave is available.

I understand that throughout the camp, pictures/videos may be taken. These pictures/videos may be displayed on social media, studio website, promotional posters, brochures or newspaper ads. Clothing and hair should always be camera ready.

I understand that the camp hours are 8:00am - 3:00pm. Late pick up is not allowed unless $25 for extended care for late pick up til 5:00pm has been paid for. If Extended Care has not be paid for prior and child is picked up after 3:00pm, $25 for Extended Care will be due prior to dancer returning to camp. If Extended Care has been paid for and dancer is picked up after 5:00 PM, $1 a minute fee will need to be paid prior to returning to camp.

I understand that the registration fee, camp fee, prepaid lunches are non-refundable, non-transferable if child does not attend camp.

I am agreeing that all charges are being made with my consent and permission. I understand that if a problem arises with my account I will contact the billing department and resolve the issue directly with Rising Stars Academy of Dance & Performing Arts before filing a dispute, claim, and/or request chargeback with my credit or debit card issuer.

I, the parent/legal guardian of the above child, hereby give my approval for their participation in activities with Rising Stars Academy of Dance & Performing Arts. I assume all risks and hazards incidental to the activities and any transportation to and from activities. In case of injury to my child, I hereby waive all claims against Rising Stars Academy of Dance & Performing Arts, the owner, instructors, employees and volunteers. I release from responsibility any person transporting my child to the doctor/hospital in case of injury.
