Locations Guidelines

1. Generally, the best public location is free. A local non-profit or government agency often is willing to work with us in exchange for the exposure that we provide to their organization. We also sometimes trade with those agencies so their staff can be certified in exchange for use of their room.

2. If APHE is paying for a location, the cost should not exceed $100/day. We attempt to work with colleges and universities, libraries, EMS agencies, and businesses whose values are aligned with ours first. Hotels are an option but they often have cancellation policies that make them difficult to work with.

3. If the base rental price is higher, we can negotiate because we are offering multiple, frequent classes.
