The Nashwauk Area Community Fund Grant Criteria
Greatest consideration is given to:
*Programs that significantly benefit the community for resources invested
* Are creative, innovative and address community needs
* Promote educational opportunities
* Eliminate duplication of services and encourage cooperation
* Increase volunteer involvement and commitment to community needs and educational programs
* Leverage other resources
The Nashwauk Community Area Fund will not grant for the following:
* Organizations that do not have their own 501(c) 3 designation
* Religious groups for religious purposes
* Fundraising events or fundraising activities
* Marketing (Non-program) materials. Examples would be videos, brochures, advertising
* Grants to individuals
* Programs/Projects outside the Nashwauk Community Fund Area
* Travel, conferences, or meeting expenses examples: meals or accommodations * All grant money must be used for the intended purpose stated in the application * If awarded a grant, a copy of invoices expenses must be submitted before the next grant deadline before applying for the next grant cycle -see NACF website
There will be two grant cycles per year:
Spring (February 1 - February 28th)
Fall (September 1 through September 30th)
(All grant applications must be submitted online and by the deadline date)
