We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Staff member to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processing, compensation, and benefits computation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

NowStaff is a Philippine-registered virtual assistance company serving US-based businesses, including those in the insurance industry. Our operations typically follow a hybrid model and align with the third shift to match our clients' time zones.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Process payroll on a regular schedule, ensuring timely and accurate payment for all employees.
- Calculate and verify employee compensation, bonuses, and benefits based on company policies and applicable labor laws.
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave entitlements.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, deductions, and related documents.
  Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory deductions, and remittances (e.g., SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, tax withholding).
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to payroll and employee benefits.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee information.
  Perform regular audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy in compensation data.
- Assist in preparing year-end reports such as BIR filings and other statutory reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA preferred but not required.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing, compensation, and benefits administration.
- Knowledge of payroll software and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Familiarity with labor laws and tax regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Payroll or HR Management is a plus.
- Experience in handling payroll for a medium to large-sized company.

- Competitive salary based on experience. Salaries start at Php 38,133.33 per month
