Need something to fit your schedule, give us a call and lets discuss.

  • 2025 Training

  • Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee Training

    General Construction
  • WorkSafeBC regulations require that employers with more than 20 workers, establish a Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee (JOHSC).   Employers are required to facilitate the creation of the JOHSC and provide each member with 8 hours of JOHSC training.

We provide this required training in three ways.  Our training can be completed as a self-study program, an online group training session / sessions or at your place of business.  Our trainers can assist you create and establish your JOHSC.

Our self-study self paced JOHSC training program is broken down into four modules.   Students are required to pass a quiz before moving onto the next module.  Upon completion, students receive training certificates.

Our Online & Site training sessions were designed for individual companies.   We are flexible with respect to course delivery.   Our online course is offered over 4 - 2 hour training sessions.   Our site training can be offered in 2 - 4 hour sessions of 1 - 8 hour session.

  • Leading Edge Worker Training and Certification

    Tower Construction
  • Workers on the leading edge during the construction of residential / office towers are at risk of falling and dropping tools & materials    These falling / dropped objects pose risk to pedestrians, motor vehicles and other workers unless appropriate precautions are followed.   This risk has increased due to the number of residential / commercial towers under construction.

Our training is a combination of online theory and site practical demonstration.  Each portion takes 2 hours.   By taking a systematic & practical approach, we have developed training that addresses the various risk associated with the leading edge of a tower building.

We have now provided training at a number of construction sites in Greater Vancouver and the Okanogan.  Be proactive and give us a call.

  • Fall Protection Training - Site Specific

    Tower Construction
  • Tower construction has unique challenges with respect to fall protection.  Each building is different and each building is constructed differently.   While the leading edge of the building is typically delineated by fencing, accessing the leading edge may create a variety of challenges and potential hazards if not done correctly.

If you work on the leading edge of the building, you are required to prepare a site specific fall protection plan.  This site specific fall protection plan is dependant on a variety of factors (ie: building design, anchor locations, anchor numbers, etc.).

Let us train your workers using the site specific fall protection plan.   This proactively addresses potential issues as the project progresses.

  • Confined Space Training

    Civil Contracting
  • Work involving entry into confined spaces is highly regulated due the risk.  Our confined space trainers are considered qualified persons as specified in WorkSafeBC regulations.  Each of our trainers has extensive expereince and knowledge with respect to confined space hazards, risks, assessments, procedurs, atmospheric monitoring and rescue.   Our experience has seen us oversee planned entries into new & active water, storm sewer, sanitary line and ultility tunnels.  Our experience  in overseeing confined space entries is sought by many civil contractors.

Our training is customized for each contractor.   Give us a call and lets discuss your needs.

  • Respiratory Protection Training

    General Construction
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is considered your last line of defense.  If your PPE fails, you get exposed.   Although airborne hazards are required to be controlled at the source, workers at construction sites often wear respiratory protection as a backup to the source control or work by nearby workers.

Respirators are used to protect workers from a variety of airborne hazards.  Unless used appropriately, a worker wearing a respirator may be exposed to airborne hazards.  Our respirator training program is tailored to the types of hazards you may be exposed to.  Silica (concrete dust), isocyanates (vapors) and welding fumes are just some of the hazards workers may be exposed to.   Silica is known to cause scarring and cancer in the lungs.  Isocyante coatings contain sensitizers which cause a progressive type allegic reaction to the vapors.  Welding fumes contain metals which are harmful if inhaled.

Let us teach your workers on the proper use, fit, limitations, storage and maintenance of the respirators they are using.

  • Hazardous Materials - Isolation and Containment

    General Construction
  • There are many products that contain isocyanates being used on construction sites.  These isocyanates are known as sensitizers and can cause allergic type reactions in workers.  These allergic type reactions increase in severity over time, where some workers are requiring medical attention and other have died.

By effectively controlling the vapours off gased by the products that contain isocyanates, the risk of workers being exposed is eliminated / reduced.  Let us show you how to effectively construct isolation and containment systems to control the vapours off gased during the application of these products.

We have worked on many buildings to assist contractors applying isocyantes (i.e. coating used in parking lots) to control the off gassing, eliminating the risk of exposure to nearby workers.

Call us, we can help with both your exposure control plan and containment system.
