Central Wisconsin Volunteer Coordinators (CWVC)
Central Wisconsin Volunteer Coordinators is a local affiliate of the Wisconsin Volunteer Coordinators Association. Focused on advocating for coordinators of volunteer services and increasing connections between community organizations. Enjoy opportunities to network, exchange ideas, and participate in professional development with like-minded professionals. Members meet regularly on topics of volunteer management. General membership meetings are held monthly. We also offer a variety of regularly scheduled networking and educational opportunities. All members are encouraged to participate on committees and consider leadership positions on the board. The organization's purpose is to provide resources and information, promote volunteerism and support those involved in volunteer coordination and/or management.
Goals
Provide volunteer managers with education, networking, and professional growth opportunities. Act as an informal resource on volunteerism and volunteer management. Provide a support network for volunteer managers. Promote volunteer management as a profession. Promote increased volunteerism in the community. Central Wisconsin Volunteer Coordinators Affiliate fees for Membership is $5 paid to Megan Johnson (CWVC Treasurer) at Monk Gardens. We encourage CWVC affiliate members to also register for membership in Wisconsin Volunteer Coordinators (WVCA) Membership is $25.
