The holidays in Occoquan are lovely and being here makes you feel like you've just stepped into a Hallmark movie!

The Holiday Artisan Market is back! This year the vendor footprint will be in the middle of the historic district on Union and Commerce Streets. River Mill Park will not be utilized.

Booth space is limited to 85 artisan vendors and each category has a limit as well. Once full, applications will go on a waitlist. All work must be original, handmade, and created by the crafter or artist. There will be no buy/sell categories for this market.

Application is not complete until payment is received and may be made with the submission of this application or mailed to PO Box 195, Occoquan VA 22125.

Vendor fee is nonrefundable unless the vendor is not accepted, or the event is cancelled due to conditions related to health and safety.

Event Logistics

Holiday Artisan Market

December 6: 12pm-8pm

December 7: 11am-4pm
1. Vendors are asked to load-in to Town the morning of December 6, from 6:30am to 10:30 pm. As there will be no in-town parking available, all Vendors must park off site at the VDOT lot at the corner of Rt 123 and Old Bridge Road once loaded in and then shuttle into town to vend.
2. The event footprint is Union and Commerce Streets in the historic district of Occoquan, VA.
3. The market begins at 12pm on Saturday, Dec 6 and closes at 8pm and incorporates a special Firelight Night event into the market activities. Vendors are encouraged to decorate tents with lights for the evening hours.
4. Santa will make an appearance during the market on Sunday, Dec 7.
Event Policies
1. All work must be original, handmade, and created by the artist. No t-shirts, imported merchandise or any resale items are allowed. Vendors acknowledge the handcrafted nature of their own products by completing this application.
2. While vendors may cancel at any time, there are no refunds and no transfers from one show to another once the application has been processed unless the show is canceled.
3. No booth spaces are ever guaranteed from year to year.
4. This is an outdoor event and is held rain or shine.
5. Vendors are responsible for their own power, internet connection, tent, tables, tablecloths, chairs, weights, leveling devices, heaters, lights, rain gear, and any other items needed as part of an outdoor event.
6. All tents must be weighted to prevent them from blowing during a gust.
7. Only vendors accepted into this show are permitted to participate. Sharing space with anyone is not permitted.
8. Vendors may only exhibit the craft medium for which they were selected.
9. Activities and displays must be appropriately family-friendly and are allowed (or not) at the discretion of the director.
10. Vendors must participate and have their tables staffed for both days for the full duration of the show.
11. Vendors may not distribute material outside of their designated booth space and are not permitted to loudly solicit visitors into their exhibit space. Amplified music is not permitted, with the exception of entertainment contracted by the Event Director.
12. Tables must be draped. No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
13. All work and displays must stay within the designated booth space.
14. Each exhibitor is expected to clean up and dispose of their own trash throughout the weekend. The Town does not provide trash service for empty vendor boxes and other trash.
15. Rude, aggressive, obscene, or abusive language and/or threatening or actual physical restraint and/or abuse of another vendor, staff, or general public is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and banishment from participation in future shows.
16. Follow directions of show personnel.
17. All local laws must be followed.
Payment Policies
1. Full payment is due November 15, 2025. Vendors not paid by this date will be removed from the vendor list.
2. Registration is not complete without submitted photos, full payment, and a signed application.
3. If paying with credit card, please submit your information at the bottom of this form.
4. If paying with check or money order, make payable to TOWN OF OCCOQUAN. Mail to PO Box 195, Occoquan VA 22125. Indicate business name on check. Checks will be deposited upon receipt. Please note that a deposited check does not equal acceptance into the show.
5. Booth fee payments will be returned to vendors not accepted into the show.
6. A $35 fee will be charged each time a check is returned for insufficient funds.
7. Checks will be accepted for payment up to two weeks before the event date. After that, credit card, cash, or cashier’s check are required.

I represent and warrant that I own or have a legal right to use any copyrights related to work that I market or sell. I agree to be responsible for the collection and payment of Virginia State Sales Tax. I also understand that while vendors may cancel at any time, there are no refunds once the application has been approved and processed, unless the Town of Occoquan cancels this event for health or safety reasons.
