    LiberTEAJune 20, 2026. Come be a part of the America250 celebrations with the Samuel Chase Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Samuel Chase is hosting a very special LiberTEA with our friends at Poplar Hill Mansion. The menu will consist of recipes reminiscent of the Revolutionary War and inspired by food once enjoyed by the likes of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, Alexander Hamilton and all those who fought for America's freedom. The menu includes: Green Peas Soup, Hoecakes & Ham with Mustard Sauce, Open Faced Zucchini Sandwiches, Savory Patties (Meat Tarts), Squash Sandwiches with Herb Cheese Spread, Cherry Scones with jam and clotted cream, Carrot Tea Cake, Apple Pie, and Independence Cake all served with Bohea Tea or Orange Pekoe Tea. Bring a friend to this history filled event! RSVP is required and seating is extremely limited.
