Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Wilson Alumnae Chapter offers a public service scholarship to a graduating senior who has made significant contributions in the area of volunteer work or public service. The Jual P. Anderson Scholarship is in honor of our charter member of the Wilson Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The amount of the scholarship is $500. The awards are granted based on the following criteria:

1. High School GPA 2.75 through seven semesters on the transcript (attach a copy of your transcript to the application) 2. Community Service List 3. Two (2) letters of recommendation 4. Two-year college attendance 5. Virtual Interview

Listed below are some instructions to assist you in the completion of the application process. Therefore, read the instructions carefully before you complete the form.

1. Please type or print legibly (using black ink) when supplying the requested information. 2. A list of your community service and hours must be included. 3. Answer all questions to the best of your knowledge. 4. Submit an electronic copy of your high school transcript with your application. 5. Have one teacher recommendation from your high school teacher and one community service letter. (describing character and leadership) Two letters must be sent o:wilsonalumnaescholarships@gmail.com 6. Once your application is received you will be notified of a time and date for a Zoom video conference interview
