The Tied Vows Lifestyle Collection Terms of Service

The Tied Vows offers professional Lifestyle photography and videography services, including but not limited to: • Professional photography sessions • Videography services (content creation and cinematography) • Editing and delivery of finalized media.

A non-refundable retainer fee of 50% is required to secure your session date. This fee will be applied to the total session cost reflected on clients invoice. • The remaining balance is due same day as the session date. • Payments can be made via e-transfer to the email address provided on the bottom of your invoice. • Payment plans are available upon request and can be structured as bi-weekly, monthly, or in two instalments.

Cancellations for services must be made at least 72 hours prior to the event date. The retainer fee is non-refundable. However, any additional payments will be credited to a reschedule if the cancellation occurs within the cancellation period. For same day cancellations outside the cancellation period, a $150 penalty charge will be added to the monies paid for rescheduling the session, the penalty is not apart of the retainer. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

The Tied Vows will provide photography and/or videography services for the agreed-upon duration and package specifications. • Any additional time or services requested during the session will incur additional charges. • Clients are responsible for securing all necessary permissions for photography or videography at their chosen location. • Locations outside a 20km radius of The Tied Vows are subject to a travel fee of $0.65 per kilometer. • Clients are encouraged to communicate ideas or specific themes for their session in advance to ensure expectations are met.

Edited photo galleries will be delivered within 7-14 days of the session date. • Edited videos will be delivered within 14 days of the session date. • Media will be provided via a digital link for download. • All galleries are accessible for 3 months from the delivery date. After this period, media will be stored on a hard drive for safekeeping. • Clients must provide a hard drive for retrieval after the gallery expiration or purchase one from The Tied Vows.

The Tied Vows retains copyright ownership of all media created. • Clients are granted a personal, non-commercial license to print, share, and display the media for private use. • Media may not be altered, edited, or submitted to contests or other businesses or vendors for commercial purposes without written consent from The Tied Vows and must be credited on any publications outside of clients personal use.

By engaging with The Tied Vows, you grant permission to use selected media from your session for promotional purposes, including social media, website portfolios, and marketing materials. If you prefer not to grant this release, please notify us in the next question.

The Tied Vows’ liability is limited to refunding payments made, excluding the retainer fee, in cases of unforeseen technical issues that result in a loss of media. • The Tied Vows is not responsible for compromised coverage due to interference from weather, other vendors, or third parties. • In the case of equipment failure, theft, or unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters), we will handle the situation to the best of our ability, but liability remains limited to payments made. • The client is responsible for ensuring a safe and harassment-free environment for the photographer. The Tied Vows reserves the right to terminate the session in unsafe or unprofessional conditions, with no obligation to provide refunds.

Clients must communicate all session details, themes, and expectations in advance. • Clients are responsible for ensuring locations are accessible and free of restrictions that would hinder photography or videography. • Clients should plan buffer time for the session to avoid disruptions or delays.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
