“Bugs & Boats”

The Mauriceville Heritage Association would like to extend an invitation to your organization to participate in the 2026 Mauriceville Crawfish Bash Parade on Saturday, April 18th. The 2026 Parade will celebrate 45 years of Crawfish. Our theme this year is “Bugs & Boats”. This will be a unique opportunity to showcase your organization or business while joining with the entire community in celebrating our unique community. All parade entries are encouraged to decorate their entry with our theme in mind.

Listed below are the details regarding participation in the 2026 Parade. Please read these details carefully as we continue to implement changes to the operation of the parade.

• ONLY Pre-Registered Parade Entries will be permitted in the parade
• You must file an application to participate in the parade. Attached is an application, however you may email the necessary information to: parade@mauricevilleheritage.org. Please make sure you receive a confirmation that we have received your entry. More information will be sent out the week of the parade via email or text message.
• REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR ALL ENTRIES IS April 13, 2026
• The 2026 parade will go rain or shine unless severe or dangerous weather is present on the date of the parade.
• Parade line-up will begin at 8:30 A.M. on Hwy 12 at OJ’s Mobil Station. Assigned numbers are marked on the shoulder and numbers will be assigned the morning of. Please come to OJ’s Mobil Station to receive your parade number first.
• Parade participants not arriving with their parade unit can be dropped off at O J’s Mobil Station on Hwy 12. There will be no parking in this area for vehicles not participating in the parade.
• All parade participants must be in position by 9:45 A.M. as the parade will start promptly at 10:00 A.M.
• All entries that are throwing merchandise/candy etc. will need to have 2 “walkers”-one on either side of their entry for the safety of the spectators.
• Judges will be located Precise Insurance Agency on east Hwy 12 across from Woodridge Dr.

     o Best Parade Float Entry
    o Best Motor Vehicle Entry
     o Best Small Vehicle Entry
     o Best Classic Vehicle Entry
     o Parade Overall Sweepstakes
