  • Chair Yoga

    Session Time: 12:00PM-12:30PM

    Chair Yoga is for everyone! Doesn’t matter what your age is, your level of fitness, cardio or strength, there is a Chair Yoga class for you. Almost every single pose (seated or standing) that we do in a Yoga class, a Pilates class, cardio and strength training class can be done using a chair. We can even dance while sitting in a chair!

    Great for beginner and experienced practitioners alike, Chair Yoga is perfect for anyone who prefers to not get up and down from the floor (and is an excellent way to ease back into physical activity post injury). Your heart rate will go up while having fun and improving health and well being.

     

    Mindful Movement + Hand Drumming

    Session Time: 2:00PM-2:30PM

    Mindful Movement and Hand Drumming is a class that is a blend of yoga, mindful movement, drumming and meditation. This is not a drumming class, although you may learn a bit about drumming! We are here together to enjoy and reap the benefits of the long historical practice of community and communication through the use of rhythm and vibration.

    This is an introductory class. You don’t need a drum to join the class. You can use a Tupperware container, wooden kitchen spoons, yoga blocks or even your own body! Linda will have a few items that we can use as well.
