Data Protection (Data Protection Act 2018)
All personal information provided on this form will be held by the Connie Rothman Learning Trust in both electronic and paper formats for the purpose of administering candidate accounts and examination entries. Such data will be securely destroyed following the completion of all examinations. Personal data will not be disclosed to any third party other than the relevant awarding bodies, except where explicit written consent has been obtained from the candidate or parent/guardian, as applicable.
- Accuracy of Information
Candidates are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied is complete, accurate, and truthful to the best of their knowledge. Failure to provide correct information may result in administrative errors, including but not limited to incorrect examination registration.
- Candidate Identification Numbers
Candidates who have not previously undertaken public examinations in the United Kingdom will not possess a UCI (Unique Candidate Identifier) or ULN (Unique Learner Number). Candidates who have previously taken examinations may locate these identifiers on past statements of results or certificates. A Unique Candidate Number and the Centre Number will be provided at each examination entry by the Connie Rothman Learning Trust.
- Payment, Cancellations and Refunds
Upon receipt of a completed registration form, an invoice will be issued for payment in full. Examination entries will not be processed until payment has been received.
- In the event of a cancellation or withdrawal, refunds will be made less a £50 administration fee per application.
- Written requests for cancellation must be received within 21 days of payment and prior to the first awarding body entry deadline.
- No refunds will be issued for applications submitted after the first entry deadline has passed.
- Statement of Entry and Examination Timetables
Following registration and payment, a Statement of Entry will be issued to the candidate via email. It is the candidate’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of all details contained therein and to notify the Centre immediately of any discrepancies.
In cases where two examinations are scheduled at the same time, the candidate will be required to complete one examination immediately after the other, under continuous centre supervision, with a short, supervised break between sessions.
- Identification Requirements
Candidates must present valid photographic identification (such as a current passport or driving licence) to the invigilator before the commencement of each examination. Failure to present suitable identification may result in refusal of entry to the examination room.
- Disclosure of Information to Awarding Bodies
The Connie Rothman Learning Trust will provide relevant personal data, including but not limited to name, date of birth, and gender, to the appropriate awarding bodies for the purpose of examination entry, administration, and certification.
