HAZWOPER 24 Registration Form (2025)
Welcome to the Registration form to participate in training in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOER 24) for oiled wildlife put on by the Alaska Sealife Center and hosted by the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. Registration for this event is free thanks to a generous donation from the Robert F. Schumann Foundation. The Maryland Zoo will provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks so please also use this form to indicate dietary restrictions. The in-person portion of this this training will take place March 20 and 21 from 8am-5pm at the Maryland Zoo in the Zoo's Penguin Coast Education Center. Prior to attending the in-person training taking place on 3/20 and 3/21, I MUST complete the 16 hour online training module that Alaska Sealife Center sent me
I must attend both days of training (3/20 and 3/21)
I must send an email to conservation@marylandzoo.org if I have an issues or can no longer attend
Keeping my HAZWOPER 24 certificate requires an 8 hour online refresher each year, myself or my institution will pay the small fee associated with this recertification.
I must return all paperwork associated with this training in a timely manner.
