  • St. John's Toileting Policy

    All students must be at least 3 years old AND fully toilet independent to attend St. John’s Lutheran School including summer camp. This means that they must adhere to all of the following skills with both urination and bowel movements.

    To be considered toilet independent:

    • Students do not wear pull-ups or training pants, not even for medical reasons.
    • Students are able to identify the need to use the bathroom.
    • Students communicate using words and are able to get to the toilet independently.
       

    Once in the bathroom:

    • Students need to be able to pull down their own pants and underwear below their knees.
    • Students need to be able to get on the toilet seat on their own, without assistance.
    • Students need to be able to wipe themselves.
    • Students need to be able to pull their own pants and underwear up.
    • Students need to be able to flush the toilet.
    • Students should not completely undress to use the toilet. This includes socks and shoes.
    • Students are expected to use soap and water to wash their hands after every bathroom experience. 

    In the case of accidents occurring, there will be a parent and teacher meeting on the same day as the second accident to discuss the situation. After the third accident, the student is to stay home for two weeks of camp or as long as it takes to be toilet independent. They must come back completely toilet trained. Camp Payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. Please be aware that no refunds will be issued for missed days.

    Please remember that toileting at school or other unfamiliar surroundings is different than being fully toilet independent at home. Take time to give your child opportunities to work independently at church, libraries, and friends’ homes to make sure they are capable of meeting the expectations at St. John’s.

    Emergency contacts - people with permission to pick up your child in an emergency or they become ill and we are unable to make contact with you. Please list at least 2 contacts to use in an emergency.

  • Summer Camp Schedule Selection

  • Vacation Bible School (VBS) will be the week of July 14 - 18. SJS Summer camp will cover the cost of registration. 

    Themed field trips might be scheduled at an ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Field trips will be scheduled after all camper schedules are received. 

    Please be aware that no refunds will be issued for missed days. ALL CAMP FEES AND PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

  • Before and After Camp Care

  • Our camp days begin at 9a and run until 3p each day. We provide the option of before and after camp care to allow for childcare coverage from 7a to 6p if needed.  No half day camp options available.

    Daily Before and After care fees are invoiced based on usage. This option is recommended for occasional before and after camp care.

    Before camp care, 7-9a: $15/day 

    After camp care, 3-6p: $20/day, $1 per additional minute after 6p

    Unlimited Camp Fees allow campers to use before and after care as often as needed without any additional billing. This option is recommended for those families using before and after camp care on a regular basis. 

    Unlimited Daily Fees: $75/day (savings of $15/day when using both before and after care)

    Unlimited Weekly Fees: $350/week (savings of $50/week when using both before and after care)

    Camp payments are managed through Blackbaud Tuition Management as two equal payments in June and July. Blackbaud charges a one time $56 administration fee for all new families using Blackbaud. If you are an exisiting family paying your 2024/2025 tuition through Blackbaud, you will not be charged the admin fee for summer camp. payments can be deducted from your checking account, savings account, or by credit card (For credit or debit card payments, the platform fee is 3.12% of the payment amount, for ACH bank transfer payments, the platform fee is 1% of the payment amount, plus $0.30, but not to exceed $2.50). You must create an account by May 21, 2025. Failure to registrer may result in registration cancelation.

     

     

    Camp Payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. Please be aware that no refunds will be issued for missed days.

     

    If camp fees are not received by the school office in full by June 3, 2025 they will be automatically applied to your Blackbaud Tuition Management account if you are a current account holder. Those not registered with Blackbaud may result in a registration cancelation.
