Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and licensed professional to fill the dual role of Laser Technician and Esthetician (Skincare Specialist). This position combines the expertise of traditional skincare with advanced laser treatments, offering a comprehensive approach to skin health and beauty.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide customized facials and skin treatments to enhance clients' appearance and skin health.
Perform laser hair removal, skin resurfacing, and other laser-based treatments.
Conduct thorough consultations to assess client needs and skin types.
Cleanse and beautify the face and body using various treatments such as peels, masks, and scrubs.
Remove unwanted hair using wax or laser treatments.
Maintain and operate laser equipment and other skincare tools.
Educate clients on skincare routines, product use, and maintaining results between treatments.
Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in skincare and aesthetics.
Ensure a clean and safe treatment environment, adhering to sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

Valid State license as an Esthetician
Valid State license as an Assistant Laser Practitioner
Completion of a state-approved cosmetology or esthetician program
Passing of state exam for licensure
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in skincare treatments and laser procedures
Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, skincare products, and treatment modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Skills (Preferred but not required):

Fluency in Spanish
Retail experience
Experience with chemical peels

Work Environment:

Work is typically performed in a salon or spa setting
May require standing for extended periods
Exposure to chemicals and laser equipment requires adherence to safety protocols
Schedule may include evenings and weekends to accommodate client needs

Work Schedule:

10-20 hours per week, as needed
Tuesday-Saturday (Saturdays are required)

This position will start very part time with up to 12 hours per week. Additionally, we value our teams ability to earn a living wage without working 40+ hours a week.
